North London Collegiate School is excited to be hosting our Pastoral Conference focusing on Early Interventions in Pastoral Care.
The conference is aimed at Pastoral and Safeguarding Leads, Heads of Year, School Nurses and Counsellors, Wellbeing and Welfare Leads, Attendance Officers and anyone interested in proactive pastoral care in primary and senior education. Our keynote speaker, Nicola Morgan (“The Teenage Brain Woman”, internationally acclaimed author and authority on teenage wellbeing), will be talking about “Their Brains in Their Hands: helping young people become active agents of their own wellbeing and resilience”.
There will be further workshops on Creative Interventions using the Power of Theatre in Education; Dr Kathy Weston talking about empowering parents and carers, Neil Moggan (RISE Up) exploring trauma informed practice supporting children and young people alongside the importance of physical activity as an early intervention tool; the importance of belonging; peer mentors, self-care and much more!
