Canons hire out facilities at various times during the year. Hire is available for anyone, i.e. individuals, small groups or established organisations. Find further details below.

Please note that hire slots are extremely limited during the school terms. However, wider availability is possible during our school holidays and half terms.

ROOM DETAILS
Canons hire out the following facilities at various times during the year:

SPORTS HALL
Our multi-purpose sports hall is approx. 26m long x 18m wide and has a wooden floor. There are court markings for badminton, netball, basketball & 5-a-side football. The hall can be divided in two, to provide a smaller space for potential hirers. The hall is well lit, heated and has a viewing balcony.

ALEXANDER ROOM
This dance studio is commonly known as the ‘Alexander Room’. It is approx. 17.5m long x 7m wide and has a semi-sprung wooden floor. The room can be used for dance, exercise classes or as a classroom/meeting room. The room comes equipped with a small kitchen area.

HIRE FEES
If you would like to hire any of the rooms at Canons Sports Centre, the following fees apply.

Whole Sports Hall – £54.00 per hour
Half Sports Hall – £34.00 per hour
Alexander Room – £34.00 per hour
