Last weekend saw NLCS host the first U10 and U11 Aquathlon event. We were delighted to welcome competitors from seven schools to our grounds on what was a lovely sunny day.
Competitors were tasked with completing a 200m swim in the pool, followed by a 1.5km run through our beautiful grounds. For some, this was their first experience of transitions from wet to dry and everyone did a fantastic job as they left the pool and changed for their run. NLCS had some brilliant performances across both age groups and the event was well received by everyone in attendance. We hope all the competitors enjoyed themselves, in spite of the very warm conditions.
Many thanks to all the staff and families who came along to support and cheer on those taking part. We hope to build on the success of this event next year!
