On 5th & 6th March over 40 Year 9 students stunned audiences in attendance for the recent production of ‘Lord of the Flies’.
In Mr Hennelly’s reimagining of the timeless classic, audiences were transported to a futuristic science laboratory that conducted the greatest of psychological tests. The study of children left deserted on a desert island. The actors performed tremendously on both nights and displayed a sophisticated range of intentions and emotions that left the audience highly reflective by the end of the play. The actors were superbly supported by an all-student technical team with a range of students from Year 7-11 operating all the different technical aspects. Mr Boase and Mr Adam’s stunning set was the icing on the cake that made this play one that will live long in the memory of all those involved.
