On Monday 20 May, our Young Enterprise team Little Prints took part in the Young Enterprise Company of the Year London and Essex Final held at Amazon HQ in East London.

The team had successfully made their way through the two preliminary regional rounds, and had only the week before excelled in the Central, North and West London Final where they were unanimously chosen as Best Company Overall by the panel of judges. On Monday, Little Prints faced tough competition from six other Year 12 companies, each of which had excelled in their own regions to reach this round.

Little Prints performed brilliantly in their interview and presentation and only narrowly missed out on the coveted Innovation award for their cutting-edge use of AI to generate images for their unique t-shirts and motivation/affirmation messages. They missed out on the top prize of Best Company – that award went to the Athena company with their cleverly conceived and designed feminism board game.

Little Prints have excelled themselves all year with their positive and productive teamwork and collaboration and developed their business idea from a few thoughts on a piece of paper to a successful, profitable, well-marketed and managed company.

We hope the NLCS community will continue to support them around school in the coming weeks. Well done Little Prints!
