NLCS is delighted to announce the success of our second Giving Day, where our community came together in a wonderful display of support.
Over the course of 36 hours, NLCS raised over £107,000, a testament to the dedication and spirit of our students, staff, parents, ONLs, and friends of the school. 290 donors stepped forward to make a difference, as well as our pupil community.
Students and staff engaged in a variety of activities and fundraisers designed to foster camaraderie and rally support for our school’s priorities. From the spirited competition of the NLCS Taskmaster challenge to the boundless energy of the Junior School Fun Run. Our caterers provided delicious cakes to celebrate the start of Giving Day.
Meanwhile, the anticipation mounted for the Teacher Lip Sync Battle, where staff members from the MFL Department, Chemistry Department, Maths Department and Senior Team dazzled the audience with some sparkly outfits and performances to match.
But beyond the excitement and entertainment, NLCS Giving Day serves a profound purpose. It is a moment for our community to come together and support two important school priorities: The Bursary Fund and the IDEAS Hub. The Bursary Fund ensures that deserving students have access to the exceptional education NLCS offers, regardless of their financial circumstances, currently 1 in 10 students at NLCS receives a Bursary. Meanwhile, the IDEAS Hub will foster innovation and creativity, empowering our students to explore and pursue their passions in state-of-the-art facilities.
