Badminton has continued to thrive throughout the first half of the spring term with success across the Senior School.

The U16 and U14 teams showcased their skills at the South East Finals of the National Schools cup, making the National quarter finals. The U14 team engaged in a thrilling match against Walthamstow School, resulting in a 3-3 draw after the singles and doubles rounds. Despite their remarkable effort, they narrowly missed out on securing a spot in the last 4 due to point difference. Meanwhile, our U16 team ventured to Chelmsford County High School and battled fiercely, though they faced a challenging 5-1 loss.

In the Herts and Middlesex schools league, our U13 and U12 teams demonstrated dominance with a resounding 9-0 victory over Queenswood. Notably, our U19 team engaged in an exhilarating clash against St Helen’s, emerging triumphant with a 5-4 win, maintaining their undefeated streak this season. Remarkably, during this match, both our 1st and 2nd pairs vanquished a formidable St Helen’s Y13 pair who had not tasted defeat in this league for the past 7 years.
