On Wednesday 28 February, we were delighted to host our Careers Convention, offering students from NLCS and our local partner, Park High School, a valuable opportunity to interact with a diverse array of professionals representing various career paths.
The evening commenced with an inspiring keynote address by Ben Sheppard, co-founder and chair of Design for Good. His organisation, the largest non-profit alliance of its kind, unites top designers from leading companies such as Microsoft, Nestlé, and Philips to devise solutions for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Following Ben’s talk, students participated in enlightening panel discussions covering a spectrum of sectors including Finance, Medicine, Legal, Psychology, and the Sciences.
Concluding the event, pupils engaged in 1:1 discussions with professionals spanning numerous career paths. We extend our deepest gratitude to all volunteers, including current parents and former students (ONLs), who generously contributed their time and expertise to make this event a success at Canons.
