Sports Scholarships are awarded to exceptional sportswomen who demonstrate ability and potential in one or more of the school\u2019s main sports.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The scholarships are open to external 11+ and 16+ applicants as well as to current pupils in Year 6 and 11. Candidates will be assessed in the same way. Assessment of current pupils who apply will be based on aptitude demonstrated through the scholarship process rather than on prior performance at NLCS.<\/p>\n

Sport Scholarship applicants will need to demonstrate that they are playing (or have the potential to compete) at club ( for U11 only ), county, regional or national level or have a recognised ranking in their sport before applying. Candidates should be an outstanding ‘A’ team player or equivalent at their current school, or an elite club level performer.<\/p>\n

Successful applicants will be expected to participate fully in the sporting life of the school and represent the school in their chosen sport throughout their time at NLCS.<\/p>\n

Sports scholars are positive role models, worthy sports performers and possess leadership qualities. If successful they will have:<\/p>\n
