Year 6 students had the exciting opportunity to experience Senior School life during a specially organised transition event.

This event was designed to help ease their move into Senior School, providing them with a taste of what to expect when they make the move next year.

The day kicked off with students participating in two engaging taster lessons in Drama and Science. In the Science session, they delved into the world of Chemistry, conducting thrilling experiments that sparked their curiosity.

Year 6 pupil, Sophia particularly enjoyed this session saying “My favourite part was when the teacher put a bunch of bubbles on their hands and set it on fire!”

Meanwhile, the Drama class offered a creative outlet, where the students had the chance to explore their talents through lively singing and dancing exercises. These interactive lessons not only showcased the variety of subjects they will soon study, but also helped build their confidence and excitement for the next step in their academic journey.

Following the taster lessons, they were also fortunate enough to try out a few of the many clubs the Senior School has to offer, including, Feminist Society, Polyglot Society, She Wolves and Maths Society.
