Over the Christmas break, Year 7 student Katherine organised and performed in a charity concert in aid of Save the Children. We Have One World New Year Charity Concert brought together a group of talented young musicians to perform at a prestigious London venue and was broadcast to 200 guests internationally.
In response to the pandemic and lockdown, Katherine and her brother decided to perform a concert to raise people’s spirits. The lockdown restrictions have meant that venues and performances worldwide were forced to close, and people could not get together with relatives and friends. Tickets were sold for the event, and all proceeds were donated to the charity Save the Children.
