The NLCS ski team recently travelled to Flaine, France, to compete in the prestigious British Schoolgirls’ Ski Races.

This highly anticipated annual event brings together talented young skiers from schools across the UK. The competition provides an opportunity for students to showcase their alpine racing skills in a challenging and exhilarating environment.

This year’s competition was particularly demanding, with the team facing extreme weather conditions that tested their skill, resilience, and determination. Despite these challenges, the NLCS skiers rose to the occasion, delivering exceptional performances on the slopes. Their hard work and dedication paid off, as they secured an impressive haul of medals: two gold, one silver, and one bronze across the U16 and U18 age categories.

This year also marked a significant achievement for NLCS, as it was among the few schools able to field four full teams, a testament to the strength and depth of the school’s ski programme.

A huge congratulations to all our skiers for their outstanding efforts and success at the competition.
