It has been an exceptionally busy and successful term in PE, with 87 fixtures played across eight different sports—showcasing remarkable commitment, progress, and standout achievements from our teams.

Netball

This term saw outstanding netball across Years 7–13, with squads competing in both the School Sport Magazine Cup and the Sisters in Sport National Cup. Our Year 7 team has reached the fourth round of the School Sport Magazine Cup, while the Year 10s have made it to the fourth round of the Sisters in Sport Plate, due to be played early next year. The Year 9 team remains firmly in the running in the Sisters in Sport Bowl.

Our senior squad delivered exceptional performances at the Independent Schools League Tournament at Worcester Arena, placing an impressive 3rd overall—an incredible result within the top 16 schools nationally.

All age groups from Years 9–11 have qualified for the Middlesex County Finals in March, with our Year 7 and 8 teams competing later that month. A huge congratulations also goes to our Senior squad, who have progressed to the regional round of Nationals in January. We look ahead to an exciting and highly competitive 2026 for all teams.

Lacrosse

Lacrosse has flourished this term, with exceptional participation and a large number of teams taking to the field. Our U15A side took 3rd place at the Tri-County Tournament, while our 1st Team were crowned champions at the U18 Tri-County Indoor Tournament.

Nineteen girls from across U15 and U18 age groups have been selected to trial for the South East Squad. If successful, they will compete at the Super Counties Tournament in March—a fantastic achievement.

The season continues next term with U14, U13 and U12 Tri-County tournaments, culminating in the highly anticipated National Schools Tournament in early March.

Dance

Middle School pupils have worked tirelessly towards the Year 7 Dance Display, demonstrating confidence, precision, and creativity throughout rehearsals. All squads are now in preparation for upcoming showcases, showing strong teamwork and a true passion for performance. A vibrant and productive term—we look forward to seeing these pieces come to life.

Gymnastics & Cheerleading

The squads have demonstrated impressive commitment, refining skills and building new choreography in readiness for 2026 competitions. The U15 and U13 Gymnastics teams will represent the school at the national ISGA Finals in February, while our Cheerleading teams continue to prepare for events and the annual display. We wish all teams the very best for next term.

Badminton

Our badminton teams have enjoyed a strong season, winning 8 of their 10 league fixtures so far. Three squads have progressed to the third round of the national cup, reflecting depth right through the programme. League tournaments have seen outstanding medal success, including both gold and silver finishes. Next term brings internal doubles competitions and an invitational singles event in the lead-up to Easter.

Football

With a high number of fixtures played, our football teams have displayed outstanding teamwork and resilience. Performances across both Middle School and Senior teams have translated into excellent wins and determined draws. More fixtures and tournaments follow next term, creating strong momentum for continued development.

Cricket

Indoor cricket continues to draw strong interest, particularly at Friday sessions. Both U13 and U15 squads delivered confident performances in the Middlesex regional tournaments, earning qualification to the next round in March. Preparations will soon begin for the outdoor season, including fixtures at Lord’s.

Swimming

Swimming continues to go from strength to strength, with high participation and standout results across year groups. Our Year 7 & 8 squad has secured a place in the North of the River Final this February—an exceptional accomplishment. The term ahead brings a mix of friendly fixtures and further Herts League events.

Skiing

Fifteen pupils competed at the British Indoor Ski Races in Milton Keynes, gaining valuable experience ahead of the British Schoolgirls’ Races taking place in Flaine this January. The squad returned with both silver and bronze medals—a fantastic outcome against strong national competition.

Cross Country

Cross Country has enjoyed an outstanding term. Strong performances at Harrow saw both Junior and Senior teams qualify for the Regional Round of the ESAA Cup. Special congratulations go to Emma G-W for an exceptional 1st place finish in the Senior race.

Our Intermediate team also claimed an impressive 3rd place at the recent Ten Schools Invitational, showing great determination over an extended course.
