Thanks to the students, staff, parents and wider NLCS community whose energy and commitment keep us moving forward, we are proud to share that NLCS has been named a finalist for Independent Girls’ School of the Year at the upcoming Independent Schools of the Year Awards.
We are also delighted to once again be included in the prestigious Tatler Schools Guide, which captures what we know to be true that life at NLCS is full of energy, ambition and opportunity:
“There is so much I love about NLCS that narrowing it down to just one thing is almost impossible!” says one student. She highlights the sheer variety of activities: “One lunchtime I can be helping to build the set for a play, and the next attending trials for a Model United Nations conference.”
It has been a year of chess triumphs, curtain calls, VEX robotics world finals, sporting victories and fresh opportunities for student leadership. Our students continue to seize every chance to push themselves further, whether competing at national level, leading societies, or discovering that a teepee can be as inspiring a classroom as a laboratory.
New initiatives, from House Captains and a Sixth Form reading room to cricket nets and new outdoor learning spaces, are creating more places where girls can grow, take risks and lead with confidence.
As we start our 176th year, we are proud of and grateful to our school community, whose hard work continues to ensure that we remain a school that never stands still.
