The Junior School have had another successful half term of sports.
Our First School students have continued to develop their agility, balance, and coordination skills as well as progressing with their swimming. Year 1 students have been particularly brave and have all challenged themselves to swim in the deep end of the pool. Year 3 have continued to work on their netball skills, whilst Year 4 and 5 have had great fun learning a new sport; lacrosse! Year 6 have been building on their football skillset.
In our competitive games, we have had lots of success too. Our U11 Badminton team had a fantastic afternoon of matches against St Helens, winning many of their games before being announced as the winning school. Our U11 and U10 netball squads have played against several schools with a range of results. Notable success goes to the U11A team who had an outstanding performance against Maltmans Green. We look forward to many more fixtures next term!
Our final event of the term was the Year 5 and 6 swimming gala where every girl was invited to race and earn points for her class. Congratulations to the winning class 6GF!
Miss Caplan, Director of Junior School Sport said: “Well done to all the girls, it was great to see you all do so well.”
