Year 11 Geography students conducted another day of field skills at Wembley as part of the IGCSE Geography course.
Year 11 Geography students had a fantastic day last Friday collecting primary data about the impacts of regeneration in the Wembley area. Students had to collect various data sets throughout the day including environmental quality surveys, traffic counts, noise levels, pedestrian counts, land use surveys and questionnaires. Students spoke with members of the public to ascertain perceptions to regeneration in the area and the various social, economic, and environmental impacts in varying locations. Students will use the results and techniques to answer questions in their IGCSE examination next year.
