Sixth Form students successfully organised an enchanting French soirée, immersing guests in the rich culture and traditions of France.
The evening was a celebration of language, music, and cuisine, with the entire event thoughtfully planned and executed by the students themselves.
The atmosphere was lively and sophisticated, with a variety of musical and poetic performances that showcased the students’ (and staffs!) talent and passion for the French language. From beautiful renditions of French songs to expressive poetry readings, the performances transported the audience straight to the heart of French culture.
In addition to the cultural performances, guests were treated to a delicious selection of French food, carefully prepared to add an authentic touch to the evening.
The soirée was a wonderful success, not only highlighting the hard work and creativity of our Sixth Form students but also fostering a greater appreciation for French culture.
Spanish Conjugation Challenge Competition
Our students put on an impressive display at The Spanish Conjugation Challenge Competition, demonstrating their strong understanding of Spanish verb conjugations across different tenses. Competing against teams from Haberdashers’ Boys, Haberdashers’ Girls, Queen’s College London, and Bentley Wood, they showed great skill, focus, and determination throughout the evening.
Their hard work and dedication paid off, securing victories in the Year 9, Year 10, and Year 12 categories. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the enthusiasm they brought to the competition.
Congratulations to, Eva, Amelia, Aarna, Doris, Theekshi, Dhriti, Isha, Tara & Kinitoke.
