On Wednesday 19 June, the Lower School Summer Concert captivated audiences with a stunning showcase of talent and creativity.
The evening began with the Orchestra’s serene rendition of ‘Adiemus,’ followed by the lively and cheerful ‘Happy.’ The performances set a high bar for the evening, showcasing the students’ impressive skills and dedication. The Flute Group’s energetic ‘Jungle Rhythm’ and the Harp Ensemble’s magical medley of ‘Fairyland Forest and Spring Dance’ added to the concert’s charm.
The Year 5&6 Choir and Year 3&4 Choir brought smiles to the audience with their delightful versions of ‘The Bare Necessities’ and ‘I Wanna Be Like You’ from The Jungle Book. The captivating ‘Ratoh Duek’ was a standout, and Canons Choir delivered yet another memorable performance.
The concert concluded with spectacular finales. The beautiful performances of ‘Moana’ and ‘Hakuna Matata’ left a lasting impression on the audience. These final numbers were nothing short of extraordinary, bringing the concert to a triumphant close.
