GCSE Results 2017
The school is delighted to announce an excellent set of GCSE results, with many stories of individual success and achievement.
Over 86% of entries were graded A*, and over 98% of entries were graded A* or A.
46 students gained straight top grades, and 77 girls gained 9 or more top grades.
This is fantastic news and an excellent foundation for the girls' Sixth Form careers.
A Level and Pre-U Results 2017
With the publication of A level and Pre-U results, we are very proud to report the School’s excellent Year 13 results:
43% of entries were awarded A* (or the equivalent at Pre-U).
80% of entries were awarded A* to A (or equivalent).
IB Results 2017
Sixth formers at North London Collegiate are in the top 4 per cent of students worldwide in the internationally recognised IB exam, with an average point score of 42.4.
This year’s results, showing an increase on the 41.4 points achieved in 2016, make NLCS the top performing IB school in the country, and one of the very highest achieving IB schools in the world. It is the eleventh year in a row that the average score attained by students has exceeded 40 points. The UK average this year was 36.4 points.
4 girls at North London Collegiate achieved perfect scores of 45 points out of 45, a standard reached by only 146 students of the 60,000 internationally last year. Congratulations to all our IB girls for all their hard work!

55 students (over half the year group) gained straight top grades, and 75 girls gained 9 or more top grades.

IB Diploma Results
Our students gained an average point score of 41.7 points, typically placing our students in the top 4% of students worldwide. This is the eleventh year in a row that the average point score attained by our students has exceeded 40 points.
The IB Higher level scores were particularly impressive:
- 57% of all Higher Level entries were graded 7 (equivalent to A* at A-level)
- 91% of all Higher Level entries were graded either 7 or 6 (equivalent to A*/A at A-level)
5 girls gained the maximum score of 45 points, something achieved by only around 150 students out of 60,000 internationally.
