.... The sixth form here is huge and is the school's tour de force. The breadth of the IB really suits the girls and it shows in their results. The Financial Times IB league table has put NLCS as the top IB school in the UK for the past three years. By the time girls leave, they have been honed into bright, inquisitive young ladies with a real thirst for knowledge. But it's not all noses in textbooks and hours in the library. The upper sixth play mixed rounders with senior boys at Harrow by day and host socials with them by night and Mary Portas, Queen of Shops and a NLCS parent, helped organise last year's charity fashion show. The new £4 million performance centre is a professional operation, worthy of the massive arts and music programme (37 events and productions each year).
