Welcome

The School is very enthusiastic about maintaining links with its former pupils, keeping them in touch with each other and informing them about progress at Canons.

All Old North Londoners are welcome at the School at any time. Visits can be arranged through the Alumnae & Development Officer, Miss Amanda Lovejoy, alovejoy@nlcs.org.uk or 020 8951 6475. If you turn up on spec, please tell the security guards at the entrance that you are an ONL and they will let you through to Old House Reception. Come and tour round your old classrooms and haunts and enjoy the historic grounds of the former palace of the Duke of Chandos.

The Old North Londoner programme is run from the Alumnae Office in School in conjunction with the Old North Londoner Association.

Old North Londoners' Association

In 2009, it was agreed by that all former pupils of North London Collegiate would now be regarded as members of the Old North Londoners' Association (ONLA), even if they had not joined the ONLA when at School. There is no joining fee or subscription charge for ONLs in this category.

Please do register your details with us either here on the website, or by contacting the Alumnae & Development Officer, Amanda Lovejoy, on alovejoy@nlcs.org.uk  or 020 8951 6475.

Membership of the ONLA brings you into a friendly network of former Canons pupils, the chance to attend reunions, to hear about the progress of the School and for the School to support ONLs with a business contact network and help with work experience placements.

Lucy Wray (1999) is the Hon Secretary of the ONLA....

I am really pleased to have joined the ONLA Committee…the School is committed to enhancing its relationship with us Old North Londoners and much work has already been done on the ONL section of the website and with more frequent reunions. The School is also able to help ONLs with business contacts if they contact the Committee. Do get in touch with us via onla@nlcs.org.uk

Reunions

An extensive programme of reunions are organised by the School each year

Reunion drinks parties

Undergraduate ONLs are invited to an annual drinks party held in North London.  It's a great chance for ONLs to catch up with former teachers and trade experiences about life at University.

Oxford University ONLs are invited to an annual drinks party with teaching staff, held each year in the King's Arms pub.  It's a fantastic chance to meet up and catch up.

Cambridge University ONLs have an equivalent drinks party; usually held in The Eagle pub.

Summer 'Pimms Party' held at school for graduate class groups.  The inaugural party was held in 2009 for the Class of 2006.  The 'Pimms Party' reunion is the first time ONLs are invited back to School as a class group and enables the year group to be reunited for the first time since starting university and catch-up with each other before many move off into new careers.

See the photo galleries to see ONLs in action at these parties!
