On the evening of Wednesday 23rd November, the Senior School Concert was held in the Performing Arts Centre. The evening featured lively music from the Soul Band, Flute Ensemble and the Clarinet Ensemble. Two choirs, the Senior Chamber Choir and Chandos Singers also performed. The Senior Orchestra performed a showcase finale consisting of three pieces, 1st Movement from Unfinished Symphony (Schubert), Festive Overture (Shostakovich) and Cello Concerto (1st movement), which was played by cellist Emily Gidda, and accompanied by the Senior Orchestra. Congratulations to all the girls involved with special congratulations to Emily for her exceptional performance.
Many thanks go to Mr Haigh for organising the concert, to all the members of staff involved and to the external musicians who very kindly gave up their time to play with the Senior Orchestra.
