In the first 2 years girls are able to take part in a number of extra-curricular activities.
Year 7 Choir
Open to all and encompasses music from a large genre of styles.
Middle School Chamber Choir
This is an auditioned choir open to girls in Years 8 and 9. The aim of this choir is to provide more challenging music and to develop a professionalism and quality to their music making.
Middle School Orchestra
Open to all. The orchestra is roughly 50/60 strong and music is wide and varied ranging from popular classics to film scores to jazz numbers.
Middle School String Orchestra
The string players from the orchestra are given the opportunity to rehearse and perform repertoire for the concerts.
Senior String Group
Advanced players Grade 6 and above are eligible to play in this prestigious group.
Other ensembles
These include clarinet, flute, brass and saxophone (non-auditioned) and the girls have the opportunity to play in Middle School concerts.
