The Music Department places great importance on the provision of chamber music as we believe it is crucial to the development of any young musician to experience the dynamic of playing in a small ensemble.
At North London Collegiate School we have almost 30 ensembles ranging from piano trios, string quartets and cello quartets placing us as one of the leading schools offering this quality and depth of music education. Each year we enter the South East Chamber Music Competition and many groups are selected to play at the finals.
We are extremely fortunate in having top quality teaching staff and together with generous financial subsidies from the school we are able to continue to develop this extensive programme.
