Yr 7 spend a day at the seaside investigating coastal processes and the shops and services found at a historic resort.
The first half of the day is spent on the beaches looking at the impact of coastal defences on the natural process of longshore drift, whilst the second half of the day is spent in the friendly seaside town, conducting questionnaires and completing a map of the local shops and services.
