You are warmly recommended to use the Canons Drive entrance to the School off the A5 Edgware Rd. However, the A5 can be very slow so it is better to use the A41 Edgware Way/Watford Bypass.

From the A41 at Stanmore, use Spur Road (A410), then at the next roundabout, take the first exit left onto the A5, Stonegrove. After ½ a mile, turn right into Canons Drive which is just before you reach the Edgware shops. The entrance to Canons Drive has white marble pillars on either side. Continue all the way to the end of Canons Drive and enter through school gates.

From the South - Hampstead, St John's Wood, Belsize Park, Primrose Hill, West Hampstead (about 20-25 minutes) - use the A41 past Brent Cross, Mill Hill, Apex Corner to Stanmore.

From the West and North - an alternative entrance to the School is off Dalkeith Grove near the road bridge over the Jubilee Line.

BY TUBE

Canons Park tube (no taxis available from here) on the Jubilee Line involves a pleasant 8 minute walk through the beautiful Park: turn left out of the station and immediately left into Donnefield Avenue; walk all the way up the avenue past Canons Park Motors and the station car park on your left, and then enter into the green spaces of Canons Park; there is a noticeboard there which shows you a map of the Park; walk along the main path with the train track and adventure playground on your left and after 200 yards, the red brick walled Memorial Garden appears on your right; keep going straight and then turn right along the far wall of the enclosed garden keeping the garden wall on your right; there is a white columned folly on your left; keep the wall on your right and the school gates (black with gold tips) appear infront of you with the porter's lodge just inside. NB the Park is not lit so it is not advisable to walk through the Park at night. In this case, go to Stanmore station.

Stanmore tube station (taxis available) on the Jubilee Line is about 10 minutes walking time, and this will bring you to the Dalkeith Grove entrance: turn left out of the station, turn first left into Merrion Avenue and walk all the way to the end of the road where it meets Dalkeith Grove. Turn left, walk over the single file road bridge and the school entrance is first right after 30 yards and is clearly signed.

Edgware tube station (taxis available) on the Northern Line is about 15 minutes walk from the School. Turn left out of the station, up to the lights at the crossroads, turn right on to the A5 Edgware Road and Canons Drive is about 200 metres on the left. Walk all the way up Canons Drive and the School is at the end.
