Teaching at North London Collegiate

Teaching at one of the best schools in the world is an enormously rewarding experience.

Teaching bright, able, enthusiastic students presents challenges and rewards in equal measure.

Relationships between staff and pupils are relaxed and friendly. Popular highlights on the annual calendar include the Staff v Pupils football, cricket and lacrosse matches, a charity dance performance, Staff-Pupil debates, and general knowledge quizzes.

The Staff room is a lively, professional and fun place to be.

Staff organise plenty of social events among themselves including drinks parties, excursions to the races, tennis and 5-a-side football matches. Staff enjoy the use of the grounds, tennis courts, and the sports centre with its swimming pool and fitness suite.

Staff-alumnae relations are strong and include staff meeting undergraduate Old North Londoners at three drinks parties a year, at Oxford, Cambridge and London.

Professional development is a strong part of the culture at North London. There are many internal repsonsibility posts and chances for promotion.
