National Youth Recorder Orchestra...
Website editor: Miriam Fine (Yr 12)
Hannah Rose in Yr 12 has been awarded a place in the National Youth Recorder Orchestra (NYRO) for the third year running! She plays sopranino, descant, treble, tenor and bass recorders. NYRO holds summer and Easter residential courses with concerts at the end. The orchestra comprises 60 recorder players of all sizes.
NYRO’s chamber ensemble ‘Blockwork’ has been invited to perform in the finals of the National Festival of Music for Youth in Birmingham in July. We wish Hannah the best of luck for this!
