Senior Orchestra

The Orchestra tackles some of the standard classical repertoire and has produced some fine performances over the years. Recent performances include: Beethoven 5; Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition; Carmen Suite 1 and 2; Dvorak 8 and Saint-Saens Organ Symphony.

Senior Choir

The Choir has sung some of the finest choral pieces in the last decade and includes the Verdi Requiem, Mozart Requiem, Vivaldi Gloria, Handel's Messiah etc. in their repertoire.

Chamber Choir

This is the only auditioned group in the Senior School. The Chamber Choir sings a wide repertoire of songs that include first performances and challenging pieces. They sang to the Prince of Wales on his recent visit to North London Collegiate School.

Jazz Band

The Jazz Band is by invitation only and has been a great success and a chance for the brass players to feature in our concerts. The ensemble performs some of the famous Jazz standards. This group was formed in 2002 and is now being asked to perform at functions outside school.

String Orchestra

(By invitation only). Recently formed the String Group has already made an impact on the standard of string playing at the school. Recently it toured Philadelphia and New York giving concerts at a variety of venues. It is conducted by Miss Pamela Moody.

Ensembles and Chamber Groups

There are many ensembles at this level and these vary from piano trios, cello quartets and mixed trios, as well as clarinet ensembles, cello orchestras, recorder groups etc.
