Yr 10 geography students, accompanied by Miss Lane, Mr Fox and Mr Waterson returned recently from an extremely enjoyable and successful field trip to Swanage along the Dorset coast.
Girls had the opportunity to study the dramatic Jurassic coastline of Lulworth Cove, the Old Harry Rocks coastal formation, the sand dune ecosystem at Studland and collect data regarding characteristics of the River Corfe for their coursework.
They also enjoyed visiting Swanage to study the impact of tourism, where they met an ONL on holiday, and Dorchester, to investigate characteristics of the town centre.
Geography students and teachers alike enjoyed their successful visit to the Dorset coast, and now look forward to writing up their coursework.
