After the recent Harrow Cross Country Championships a number of girls were selected to represent Harrow at the Middlesex Cross Country Championships.
Yr 7: Sarah Proctor
Yrs 8-9: Yat Wing Smart, Yee Yewt Smart, Kirstie Conway, Renate Fromson, Deborah Owen
Yrs 10-11: Amanda Coleman, Amy Needleman, Isabel Wheeler, Caroline Taylor, Imogen Schon, Imogen Hindle Briscall
Yrs 12-13: Sarah Brown, Leah Schabas, Rosie Neilson, Camilla Turner.
Sarah Proctor finished 4th in her race, helping the Harrow team to gain 1st place.
In the senior races three girls also gained exceptional results, and have subsequently been selected to represent Middlesex at the English Schools Cross Country Championships in Liverpool later this term. Sarah Brown finished 1st in the under 19 age group and Yat Wing and Yee Yewt finished 4th and 5th respectively in the under 15 age group. Kirstie, Amy, Amanda, Leah and Rosie have also been selected as non travelling reserves.
