The North London U16 and U15 netball teams recently took part in the annual Harrow Netball Tournament.
The U16 team began the day began with a number of matches against schools such as Hatch End and Sacred heart; they played well and won all these games by quite large margins. The team went through to the final, where they had a tough match against the defending champions, Park High School. It was a very competitive match but the U16s worked really hard and were winning 3-0 at half time. The match ended in a draw and the tournament was eventually decided on goal difference, with North London gaining the title of U16 Harrow Champions.
The U15 team also played extremely well in all their matches and went through to the final, where they played Sacred Heart in another difficult final match. At full time, the score was tied and the match went into extra time according to the ‘golden goal’ rule. The North London team scored the golden goal to become the U15 Harrow Champions.
Congratulations to all who played!
