Over the weekend, the 1st, 2nd and U15 A lacrosse teams played their first matches of the season at the Berkhamsted 8-a-side Lacrosse Festival.
The U15A team played well in the morning and were placed in the second seeded group for the afternoon. They came 2nd in their group and achieved 7th place overall out of 20 teams.
The Senior 2nd team won two of their three matches in the afternoon to come 2nd in the sixth seeded group.
The Senior 1st team played particularly well, beating last year’s National Schools’ champions, St Swithun’s, to be placed in the top group for the afternoon. They won two further matches (3-0 against Putney, 4-1 against Downe House) and were placed 3rd overall, out of 40 teams.
