We aim to teach science in a fun, intellectually stimulating and academically rigorous way.
What we do…...
Our students help us to run a wide range of exciting activities including:
H2O, (our science newsletter), the Science Society, Science Clubs for younger students, Science/Maths week, the Science Journal Club and the publication of the Science Journal at the end of the academic year. We organise many trips to lectures in all the sciences, mostly to venues in central London.
It is the objective of the Biology Department to teach our girls an understanding and appreciation of all aspects of the living world around them, and the relationships between human beings and the planet, while also incorporating the requirements of the relevant examination boards.
The Chemistry department aims to foster a passion and understanding of the subject in all our students. We do this by encouraging experimentation and questioning in a safe and supportive environment.
Above all, we believe in teaching Physics with enthusiasm and share our love of the subject with students.
