A group of 12 girls from Gimnasio Los Portales, one of Colombia’s most prestigious girls’ schools, spent an afternoon at Canons this week.

Each girl was hosted by a North london student, from Yr 9 to Yr 12 and they spent time making new English friends and attending lessons in school. It also gave the North London girls the opportunity to practise their spoken Spanish!

The girls from Los Portales are currently spending one month in England as part of an immersion programme in English. Colombian and English students alike enjoyed the experience very much, and we very much hope that we will be able to repeat this “mini-exchange” in the future.
