Maintaining the outstanding education at and reputation of North London Collegiate School is vital. Doing so means investing in modern facilities and talented teachers, thereby attracting the brightest and the best pupils.

In common with most independent girls’ schools, we have no significant endowment fund to assist with the funding of major projects or the continuing provision of bursaries. The modernisation of our facilities, the management of our beautiful and historically important site and buildings, the development of an expanding curriculum, and the future funding of bursaries, are some of the cost pressures we face.

School fees are carefully managed and directed to fund teaching and resourcing. The priority we give to these areas means that the cost of special projects, new buildings and additional teaching cannot be funded out of surpluses alone.

The Performing Arts Centre and the McLauchlan Library both owe their existence to the generosity of donors, as do many other enhancements to the School.

We know that parents, pupils, former students, and our many other supporters share our determination to safeguard and further North London Collegiate’s pre-eminent position.

Fee income alone will not enable us to do this and we are grateful to those who have shown such generosity in the past and continue to do so. They have played a major part in ensuring that not only today’s pupils, but future generations of girls, too, will benefit from their gifts.
