On Tuesday 16th June four girls in Yrs 7 and 8 took part in the Junior Mathematical Olympiad. Well done to Katharine Emden (Yr 7), Frances-May Gardiner, Rebecca Wilkin, and Joanna Wu (Yr 8).
The Junior Mathematical Olympiad is a two hour written paper aimed to stretch pupils' reasoning and mathematical skills. The Olympiad is organized by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust for more information visit http://www.mathcomp.leeds.ac.uk/.
