The Prince's Teaching Institute, which brings together teachers and leading academics with a view to encouraging rigorous and challenging subject teaching in all schools for children of all abilities, held its annual Summer School at Cambridge University last week.
NLCS staff have been involved in helping to design the course, which focused this year on Modern Foreign Languages. The course was led by Mrs McCabe who chaired the panel of educationalists, including the Director General for Education Standards, on the final day, giving teachers the opportunity to voice their views about education. The Minister of State for Schools also attended the conference at Cambridge University.
