On November 7th, the U16 football team competed in the Harrow 5-a-side Football Tournament. The girls had some tough fought matches in the group stages but managed to qualify to the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, the girls found their rhythm as well as the back of the net winning 4-0. In the final, they met Whitmore, who they had met in their first match of the day and who were their best opposition. They played with determination and courage but were unlucky on this occasion. However, the girls had every reason to keep their heads held high as they played some fantastic football and were pleased with their 2nd place finish. The team was comprised of: Maria-Clara Martins, Meleesha Perera, Tanvi Shah, Lucy Holden, Francesca Sidoli, Emily Mort, Xelia Mendes-Jones and Rochelle Ojomo.
