On Wednesday 9th February the Under 14 Badminton team travelled to Southall to represent Harrow in the West London finals. The team played against 3 schools, with each match consisting of 5 sets, some singles and some doubles. The team beat Swarminarayan 5-0, Dormers Wells 5-0 and Brentford 4-1. They went through to the final where they played against Brentford again. Brentford had one outstanding player so they had to play cleverly against her, particularly in the doubles games.
Our team beat them again 4-1 to become West London Champions. The 4 girls have been asked to go forward to the next round where they will represent the whole of West London in the regional finals. We wish them luck for this exciting tournament.
