Middlesex Country Lacrosse

On Saturday, NLCS hosted the annual U18 and U15 Middlesex lacrosse tournament.

The U15 B team narrowly lost a couple of games and beat LEH C team to come 4th in their section. The U15 A team won against St James and St Helen's but lost to St Paul's and LEH. They certainly played some of their best lacrosse and really pulled together as a team. They finished in 3rd place overall.

The U18 3rd team competed in the 2nd team tournament against some impressive teams. They beat St James to come 5th in the group. The U18 2nd team played in the same section. They won 3 games convincingly but sadly lost 2. They came an impressive 3rd place.

The U18 As worked hard as a team all day despite carrying a number of nasty injuries. They beat St Helen's, St James and LEH B team with superb results. They then drew 3-3 with St Paul's. The game against LEH A team was always going to be our toughest. We scored the first goal and held them at 3-3 for most of the game. It wasn't until the closing minutes that LEH sneaked two more goals in to make it 3-5. This was our best result against them for some time and this impressive score line ensured that we came 2nd in the group.

Well done girls!
