On Monday 28th March, the Middle School football team travelled to Harrow High to compete in a 5-a-side tournament. The team, comprised of a mix from Yrs 7, 8 and 9, had 6 matches in the preliminary rounds; they did extremely well winning 4 and drawing 2. The girls qualified for the Semi-Finals where they faced and defeated Harrow High's A team 3-0. They then had to take on Hatch End in the final who had given them a nail-biting match earlier in the competition. The girls were determined and played outstanding football winning convincingly 3-0 and therefore winning the tournament.
Congratulations to the following girls for winning the gold medals: Xelia Mendes Jones (Capt), Kaye Song, Yasmin Hazemi, Maddy Payne, Millie Pope, Megan Wilson and Zimeng Wu.
