Science Department

We aim to teach science in a fun, intellectually stimulating and academically rigorous way.

Our students help us to run a wide range of exciting activities including: H2O, (our science newsletter), Science Society, Science Clubs for younger students, Science/Maths week, Science Journal Club and the publication of the Science Journal at the end of the academic year.




Biology

It is the objective of the Biology Department to teach our girls an understanding and appreciation of all aspects of the living world around them, and the relationships between human beings and the planet, while also incorporating the requirements of the relevant examination boards.

Chemistry

The Chemistry department aims to foster a love for and understanding of the subject in all our students. We do this by promoting scholarly work and involvement with the practical aspects of Chemistry. It is our belief that everyone should be excited by the journey of discovery that is the study of Science.
