Central to the the ethos at North London Collegiate School is the provision of bursary places to allow bright girls to benefit from the world class education on offer, irrespective of their social or financial circumstances.
Scholarships & Bursaries
Governors' Bursaries
The school Governors make available a generous number of bursaries to girls entering the Senior School at ages eleven and sixteen. In order to qualify, a girl must reach a high standard in the Entrance Examination and financial need must be established by completion of a confidential statement of income and fixed expenditure. A committee of governors considers each case individually and with discretion. Further help can be given to pupils holding bursaries with such expenses as school field trips.
Parents are invited to fill in the relevant forms for Governors' Bursaries only when their daughter is called forward for interview. Bursaries are reviewed annually and an up-to-date financial statement is required.
Music Scholarships
There are a number of music scholarships available. Holders are eligible for Governors' Bursaries in addition, if parental income qualifies. Parents of any girl who wishes to be a candidate should complete an application form and return it to the Admissions Secretary not later than 15th November in the year prior to entry.
