Parents' Guild Ice Skating 2011

On Saturday 5th March, the Parents' Guild held their first "Ice Skating at Canons" event on the South Courts behind the Old House. The event sold out within a day of ticket sales and was eagerly anticipated. The girls skated for 45 minute slots and afterwards, were able to go on the bouncy castle and buy refreshments organised by the Parents' Guild, including cookies and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The tea, coffee and hot chocolate on offer were much appreciated in the cold weather! Some parents also ventured onto the ice and equally enjoyed the event. Thanks to all the Parents' Guild helpers, the helpers on the ice rink and the groundsmen for helping with the refreshments. We hope that there will be many more "Ice Skating at Canons" events in the future!
