ONL receives commendation for journalism
Lucy Tobin (ONL 2004) received a commendation as Journalist to Watch at the 24th WorkWorld Media Awards ceremony held yesterday in Westminster.
The judges, who included Rosemary Bennett, social affairs correspondent of The Times; Anthony Browne, director of policy at the Mayor of London's Office, and Baroness Kingsmill, who said that the 24 year-old "Really stood out with her versatile, sharp writing and acute analysis."
Lucy is a City reporter on the Evening Standard, and freelances for The Guardian newspaper and Grazia magazine. She can also be seen on TV for BBC Breakfast and News 24.
She has written two books A Guide to Uni Life (Trotman) and Pimp Your Vocab (Anova).
