The Revue is Oxford University's sketch comedy troupe, founded by Michael Palin in the late 1950s. Past alumni include Alan Bennett, Dudley Moore, Ian Hislop, Stewart Lee, Armando Ianucci, Josie Long and Richard Herring.
Having been one of the leading lights of the drama scene at NLCS, Sophie joined the Revue in her first weeks at university and co-wrote all of last year's shows, including their Edinburgh Fringe show, "The Oxford Revue is Going Places".
Next term Sophie will oversee their five-day run at the Burton-Taylor Studio in Oxford, as well as their joint effort with the Durham Revue and Cambridge Footlights in a 600-seat venue. Details of both these performances, as well as numerous smaller shows in the less auspicious room over the Wheatsheaf pub, can be found on the Oxford Revue's website www.oxfordrevue.com. Check the website too for youtube videos, podcasts and written sketches, or their Facebook group.
