Article: Gina Sternberg (Yr 9) Website Sub-editor: Isabella Sullivan (Yr 12) Earlier this week, the classics department took the Year 9 girls on a trip to the British Museum to discover more about Ancient Greek and Roman Life.

The girls' knowledge of everyday life in the period of time, was first tested in a questionnaire and then during the day they were able to research into religion, medicine, dress and warfare and also went on an artefacts ‘treasure hunt’. The day concluded with the girls filming videos to ‘sell’ various ancient objects ranging from intricate pots to huge mosaics. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the day, participating in exciting activities to extend their understanding of Classical Civilisation.
