On Thursday 10th December, the Lower School girls gave two wonderful performances of their Christmas Concert in The Performing Arts Centre. The orchestra was at full strength and gave rousing performances of Mozart's German Dance.
The Lower School music groups were all represented and played everything from Christmas Carols to Gilbert and Sullivan. Rania Kim accompanied the Years 5 and 6 Choir on the violin and Chamber Choir excelled themselves yet again. Rebecca Ebner-Landy's rendition of I saw Mummy Kissing Santa Clause was greeted with loud cheers.
The parents joined in with gusto for a round of suitably festive songs and Mr Haythornthwaite, as usual, ended the evening covered in snow!
