The Junior School was delighted to welcome Mary Smith ONL (nee Scot), one of the original members of the German Exchange to the School on Tuesday. This was her first visit back to school for 50 years! She told the girls all about her 27 hour journey to Ludwigsburg most of which was spent sitting on hard wooden seats.
She showed us the beautiful album and her diary of the visit, all meticulously kept with letters and mementos. It was particularly special for the girls who are playing the role of 'Mary S' in our Founder’s Day play to meet the real 'Mary S' in person!
